About Us

Mary Schweitzer Scholarship
The Mary Schweitzer Scholarship was established by the Cultural Anthropology Alumni 2005 in 2010 with the support of friends and colleagues in honor of Mary Schweitzer who contributed to the development of her students at AUCA, Kyrgyzstan, teaching Cultural Anthropology courses in 2002-2003 and 2004-2005. She has been a wonderful professor and a friend to her students who continue to work and study in the line of Cultural Anthropology. The first scholarship was amounted to the $400 for each student in 2010. There were two winners from American University in Central Asia. Each year the amount of the scholarship will differ depending on the donors' contribution.
